PARIS, FRANCE (June 26, 2023) — Fauchon L’Hotel Paris, Paris' first Gourmet hotel, has just launched a special gourmet package which incorporates a unique experience in Paris: a visit to the Caves du Louvre. As a property which focuses on ultimate gourmet pleasures, Fauchon L'Hotel Paris has incorporated a spectacular Parisian wine and cheese tasting opportunity in what was once a hidden royal wine cave with gourmet experiences at the five-star boutique hotel as well.

Les Caves du Louvre is a hidden gem dating back to the 18th century which was once a royal wine cellar. King Louis XV’s sommelier ordered the construction of a magnificent mansion and established a wine supply business in these caves. The spaces extended through a network of tunnels as far as the Louvre and it was believed that wine could be supplied to the Palace in complete discretion. The venue was recently renovated and opened to the public for the first time.
